What is The Tori Cup?

A fantasy and science-fiction knowledge competition in the vein of "College Bowl," on film, television, comics, and literature, hosted at Ithaca College and will help promote literacy and celebrate our well-read fan community!

When and Where

Date: Sunday, April 17, 2016

Location: Friends Hall and Textor Hall at Ithaca College


Family teams 
2-3 p.m.
(*Teams must have at least one adult and at least one child under 12)

Middle school teams
3-4 p.m. 

High school teams
4-5 p.m.

Open teams
5-6 p.m. 

Fee: $10 per team

Create a Team

Teams will compete in groups of four.  Middle School and High School Divisions must have an adult coach who will be present during competition.

The Charities

The two charities that the proceeds of the Tori Cup will go to are The Harry Potter Aliiance and This Star Won't Go Out. 

Both charities support causes that Tori endorsed during her life, and she was part of the fan communities associated with both.

The Tori Cup is being hosted at Ithaca College, the opening rounds will take place in friends hall, but the Final Round and Registration will be in Textor Hall. Ithaca College can be found at 953 Danby Road, Ithaca, NY 14850.

For Parking you can use the Parking Lot by the Roy H. Park School of Communications.
